“I build with wood because that is within my skill set. Growing up we built our own log homes. I use salvaged lumber that is 80-150 years old (often it comes from old doors). This old growth wood is far superior to anything that can be purchased from lumberyards. It’s tough stuff and sometimes bites back.”
